Alpaca DNA Testing - $35

AABA is proud to announce that it has resumed Alpaca DNA Testing.  We have entered into an agreement wth the Alpaca Registry, Inc.  http://www.alpacaregistry.com/  This proud association provides AABA members with access to testing that uses an 18 marker panel for genotyping.  

Testing is offered at only $35 per animal or $100 per triad (sire, dam and one offspring).  

The selection of the 18 markers of the ARI’s testing panel was based on tests of over 10,000 animals.  Development of this panel dates back to 1997. Each marker was strenuously assessed during each of the development phases.  

The ARI provides its genotyping service to the British Alpaca Association, the Belgium Alpaca Association, and now AABA.
